Alpha

Alpha logo

Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore and talk about the Christian faith. It is a relaxed, low key, friendly, fun and free series of sessions. Also, it’s a place, for any and everyone, where we can ask questions, delve into issues and explore answers together. Alpha courses are run all around the globe.

“It runs in cafés, churches, universities, homes—you name it. No two Alphas look the same, but generally they have three key things in common: food, a talk and conversation.”

Food is a brilliant way of bringing people together, whether through a full sit down meal or cake and a coffee. Most sessions start with food, of some kind, as a way to break the ice, allowing everyone to relax and get to know each other.

Please see our Facebook page for videos explaining more about Alpha.

Bible study

“The talks are designed to engage and inspire conversation…they can be given as a live talk or played as a video. They explore the big issues around faith and unpack the basics of Christianity, addressing questions from Who is Jesus? and How can we have faith? to Why and how do I pray? and How does God guide us?

There’s no obligation to say anything and there’s nothing you can’t say (seriously). It’s an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly and open environment.”
