St Cassian’s Day – Saturday 29 February 2020

Chaddesley Corbett has the only church in the British Isles dedicated to St Cassian. It is believed that the dedication is to St John Cassian of Autun (c AD 360 – c AD 435), also known as St Cassian the Ascetic or St Cassian of Rome. He is widely revered in the Eastern Orthodox Church where his Saint’s Day is 29th February. So officially it comes around only every 4 years.

There will be a special event on Saturday 29th February to mark this auspicious day.
