HRH The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh 1921-2021

Following the sad announcement of the death of HRH Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh on Friday 9th April 2021. St Cassian’s and St George’s are open for people to come and pray/ light candles if you wish, but please ensure masks are worn and you adhere to Covid-19 guidances.

Please note that the Government has advised that in order to observe current Covid-19 precautions, physical condolence books should not be offered at this time.

We pray for Prince Philip, Queen Elizabeth and all of the Royal family during this sad time.

Most merciful God,
whose wisdom is beyond our understanding,
surround the Queen and the Royal Family with your love, that they may not be overwhelmed by their loss,
but have confidence in your goodness,
and strength to meet the days to come.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
