Acts 24:24
Back in chapter 21 Agabus predicted that Paul would be bound and held as a prisoner, and we have read how he has been moved from one prison to another. And yet, isn’t it so very clear to us that the gospel, the good news of Jesus has been completely unbound during this time? Paul has had opportunity to share his testimony and the word of God with governors, guards, kings and officials. At one point “two years” passes in half a sentence, but we can sense that the Holy Spirit made use of every day of those years in the life of Paul. Could we take those situations which are a “bind” to us and look for opportunities, with the help of the Spirit, to share the good news of Jesus?
