Isaiah 59
Having jumped ahead last week, we now step back into those chapters towards the end of Isaiah. The joy of Christmas is that God has stepped into the breach, where his chosen people couldn’t stand, and he has brought the blessing that he promised for all nations. The peace of Christmas is that Jesus has restored the relationship between God and mankind, that Adam & Eve broke. The hope of Christmas is the certainty of the promise that our eternal destiny is with him. How do we get hold of these lovely Christmas presents? See 59:20
