Colossians 3
It takes just a week to read through this short letter, but a lifetime to put it into practice! Today’s passage invites us to get dressed in the work clothes of being a follower of Jesus – put on compassion, kindness, etc. Once we are equipped with all those Christ-like tools we then put on some amazing overalls: over all these put on love. Again, the love that is written about here is the love that Jesus showed us, that we are to pass on to others: a love that sacrifices self for the blessing of the other. Let’s get dressed for Christ’s work.
