Luke 8
The ministry of Jesus seems to go up another gear, as he teaches the crowds using parables. He then shows his authority over creation (the wind and waves), over the spiritual realm (the legion of demons), over sickness, death and practical needs (feeding 5,000+). That’s all very interesting, but then in the middle of this his disciples are no longer left as spectators of what is happening, they become participants as they are sent out ‘to preach the kingdom’ and to bring healing & wholeness. Has there been a particular moment when you felt the shift from spectator to participant?
