Mark 12
We have now entered the last week of the life of Jesus on earth, and in our readings there are strong references to being fruitful and the consequences of not yielding the fruit that the Lord expects; it’s about how we live for the Lord. His opponents come at him with words, with tricky questions (perhaps because they have no fruit to bring from their lives). Jesus answers with words full of God’s truth and continues to live a life which will bear eternal Godly fruit. Can we follow his example with our words and our lives, whilst we benefit from his life-giving life and words?
