Ephesians 6
From early on in this letter Paul has been urging the Ephesians Christians to recognise that it is by God’s grace that they have been welcomed into his kingdom of light – not by any merit or effort from themselves. It is because of this that he challenges them to think about the course of their life and how they can show they are no longer driven by the darkness but by the light. Today’s reading is for those who are in a relationship as child-parent or slave-master (which we could read as employee-employer). In our interactions with those around us, can we show that we are driven by light, by grace, by God’s love, in the way that speak and behave?
