Proverbs 11
The earlier chapters this week depict both Wisdom and Folly in person form, as women with whom we can have a relationship. Wisdom offers a deeply positive relationship whilst Folly seeks to lure us aside from our path. Here in chapter 11 we have a selection of the Proverbs of Solomon, with little to connect the one to the next we can read them separately and ponder them individually, rather than trying to race through many verses at a time. The relationship with Wisdom that they offer is one that benefits from a stroll and careful observation rather than a sprint and a glance.
