Acts 15
This passage from Acts shows the early Church seeking unity through prayerful discernment, wise leadership, and clear communication. The apostles and elders do not act alone or impose unnecessary burdens; instead, they listen, decide together, and send trusted people to encourage the believers. Their message brings joy because it reassures the Gentile Christians that they are welcomed and valued, not weighed down by impossible expectations. I am reminded that Christian community should strengthen rather than unsettle people. Sometimes faith requires guidance, but that guidance should be shaped by the Holy Spirit, love, and a desire for peace. Judas and Silas also show the importance of encouragement, using their gifts to build others up. This challenges me to speak words that bring clarity and hope. Like Paul and Barnabas, I am called to keep teaching, serving, and sharing God’s word faithfully wherever I am placed.
