Acts 18
This week’s readings cover the ‘second missionary journey’ where Paul and the others see some miraculous conversions of people believing in Jesus as well as some severe opposition. They (17:2) reasoned from the Scriptures, showing that this was not a made-up story of good news, and how good to see the Bereans (17:11) checking it out against Scripture. Although it’s ‘a journey’ Paul spends significant time in each place, rather than just an overnight stay; he gives people plenty of opportunity to respond to the good news, but in the end must move on when there is no response. Have we run out of people in Kidderminster who need to hear the good news?
