Luke 1: 46 – 55
Mary’s song shows that God values humility and recognizes those the world may ignore. She praises God for noticing her despite her low status, emphasizing that God looks for open and willing hearts.
Today, Mary’s example is reflected in how people care for refugees seeking safety and hope. Communities offering support to displaced individuals demonstrate Mary’s message by showing compassion and practical help. Mary’s story illustrates that God fulfils promises through ordinary people who respond with trust and kindness, especially toward those who are humble or overlooked.
We give thanks to God today for choosing The Blessed Mary to be the mother of his son.
May we, too, have the courage to answer God’s call on our life.
