Hebrews 10: 1-10
Christ’s sacrifice made once for all. Jesus died on that first Good Friday, bringing to an end the need for the sacrifices demanded by the Jewish law. Jesus came to do God’s will, for you and for me. He said to his heavenly Father ‘Here I am I have come to do your will’. Jesus’s perfect sacrifice of himself, his complete submission to the Father’s will, supersedes and replaces all previous sacrifices. Through his sacrifice we have been made holy. We have been made right with God, justified, and able to live in the freedom of God’s love; free to become more like Christ on our journey through this life.
