Proverbs 30
In the earlier part of this week we had more sayings from Solomon, and there seem to be some of common themes that have been collected together (for example about the sluggard, or about how we speak). Can you hear the teaching of Jesus reflected in some sayings, or other parts of the New Testament? Wisdom stretches across the Testaments. When it comes to the sayings of Agur in chapter 30, again we can hear some of their echoes in the New Testament and even in the book of Job. Which are the sayings that resonate most strongly for you today, that you need to listen to as their vibrations set other parts of God’s word humming for you?
