Acts 21
Paul has begun his ‘third missionary journey’ in this week’s readings, and once again we see dramatic life-changing conversions as well as deep-seated opposition (especially when it involves a potential loss of income!). He remains utterly convinced (20:22) that the good news of Jesus must be shared even though there are many hardships to face. The Lord sends Agabus (21:10) with a visual message so that the travelling companions of Paul also understand completely the cost of sharing that good news. They did not hold back from being committed to this work. What might their example inspire in us?
