1 Corinthians 6 & 7
Sex is everything. Well, that’s what the Corinthians thought (and it’s not much different today!) and Paul challenges them whether it’s the immoral use of sex that was going on, or the right use of sex in marriage that wasn’t happening, or whether to be married at all or remain married: he says, “Do you know what? There is something even more fulfilling than sex”. In chapter 8 this gets expressed as “I won’t use my freedom in Christ to cause a younger Christian to stumble in their relationship with the Lord”. Shall we try filling our minds with serving Jesus and watching out for others?
