Proverbs 3
These verses urge us to do what is right and good for others, reminding us we are all part of a community watched over by God. God’s blessing is given to those who act honestly, treat others with kindness, and choose humility. Wisdom is described as a trusted companion—if we value her and keep her teachings close, she will protect us and bring us respect and joy. The search for wisdom is a lifelong journey, requiring us to listen carefully, remember lessons from those who care for us, and avoid harmful paths. The difference is clear: the way of wise people grows brighter, while the way of the wicked is dark and confusing. By seeking wisdom and acting justly, we walk in the light, reflecting the goodness and guidance of God. Holding on to wisdom honours both God and the life we have been given.
