2 Timothy 2
In the last chapter of the first letter Paul points out how easy it is to lose focus and be centred around something that does not feed us eternally. In the opening chapter of this next letter he reminds Timothy of how the faith has come to him personally through his grandmother and mother. This becomes a pattern for his ministry of passing on from Paul to the next generation of believers that message of grace and godliness, which they too need to pass on. Tomorrow we read what it is that enables us to meet all those challenges of Paul’s day, and of our own day: Scripture. Keep reading it and letting it shape how we live for the Lord!
