Isaiah 51
In Isaiah 51 the remnant of Israel are comforted because of their Glorious Prospect! We are a few days away from the celebration of the birth of Jesus on Christmas Day – his first coming. In chapter 52 we read “See my servant will act wisely; he will be raised up and highly exalted”. The people of Israel did not yet understand all that Jesus would do – what he has now done! This Christmas time rejoice! You are so loved that Christ came, he died, he rose from the dead and he will come again!
