2 Corinthians 4
Paul has had to write some hard things to the Corinthians in both his first letter and this, and yet his love for them is unwavering in that he wants the best spiritually for them and refuses to be offended by their behaviour towards him. This is well expressed in today’s chapter where Paul knows he is as fragile and as plain as a clay pot, but that comes with the amazing grace that God places his treasure in that pot. We are invited to live the reality of v16 we are wasting away and yet we are being renewed daily, and that’s because we fix our eyes not on this temporary world but on God’s eternity. Get ready for a whole stack of overwhelming verses in tomorrow’s chapter!
