Acts 24
Paul’s experience reminds us that injustice can happen even when a person has done no wrong. He is kept in prison, falsely accused, and treated as a political problem rather than as a human being made in God’s image. Festus recognises that Paul has a legal right, yet he is also tempted to please others. Paul’s calm appeal to the emperor shows courage, dignity, and trust in God’s larger purpose. For the church today, this passage calls us to stand with those who are unheard, misrepresented, or unfairly treated. Faith does not ignore injustice; it speaks truth with grace. Like Paul, we can trust God while also using rightful means to seek justice and protection.
