Mark 10

More eyes are opening more widely to ‘see’ Jesus in these readings this week.  For some it’s about relationships with others and reactions to others, where our faith in Jesus, rather than anything else, needs to determine what these should be. The awakening faith within the disciples is shown in their questions about wealth and status within the Kingdom of God. The radical difference of the values of that Kingdom from the world around us are revealed by Jesus as he says he came to serve and to give his life as a ransom to set us others free. May we live by those Kingdom values in the situations we face today.
